September Week 3, Year 2

Besides the default Christian/HBK vs. Clay/Bourne match, the Raw card seems pretty good. We are six days away from Clash of the Champions

Raw
Match 1. Christian vs. X-Pac vs. Scotty too Hotty  Light Heavyweight Championship
This may be the first time this title is being defended. It obviously won't be defended at the PPV, so why not now? Chrisitan hit a hurricanrana on Scotty. X-Pac hit the X-Factor but got only a 1 count. Christian's bleeding! It's the first blood sighting in my Universe. Towards the end of the match, there were many pin attempts. Christian retained with a roll-up on Pac.

Match 2. JBL vs. Jeff Hardy
This is a "remarkable match" but I don't know why. Mr. Ass attacked JBL from behind. Jeff immediately brought a chair into the ring. Jeff then got a sledgehammer but JBL knocked him down. He then hit a back breaker. JBL went for the powerbomb but Hardy reversed it. Jeff hit the Twist of Fate and won.

After the match, Angle, Triple H and Mr. Ass were at the top of the ramp staring down Jeff.

Match 3. Sting vs. Austin
Austin was waiting for Sting but he snuck up from behind and clotheslined him. Slowly, Austin was making a comeback. Sting hit a flipping bulldog and busted Stone Cole open. Austin could not recover from that. Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop to win.

After the match, Sting went to hit Austin with a chair but Holly ran out. Sting left, but Holly hit Austin on the head.

Main Event. Triple H vs. Undertaker
This match went to the outside quickly, but it wasn't for long. Triple H hit the knee smash but Taker recovered. JBL ran down to the ring and clotheslined Taker. HBK ran down right after. Taker hit the Tombstone. He picked HHH up for a chokeslam but it was reversed. Taker hit another Tombstone and went straight for the pin, but Triple H kicked out at 2. In order to finish him, Taker grabbed a chair. He then hit a Last Ride, but HHH got up. He then hit the Pedigree and got the win.

Nitro
Match 1. Extreme Rules - Eddie and Rey vs. Bubba and D-Von
The Dudley Boys are on Nitro! First RVD, now the Dudleys. Is there an ECW reuinion? D-Von pulled a ladder from under the ring. Rey countered with a soda can. Bubba brought in a chair then a garbage can. Rey hit the 619 on D-Von. I haven't seen the 619 in ages. D-Von hit a running clothesline to Eddie in the corner which knocked him out.

Match 2. Cena vs. Orton vs. Batista vs. Mr. Kennedy
What is going on in WCW? Why are these four on Nitro? Cena and Batista were battling on the outside. Cena hit a belly-to-belly onto a chair. Orton went for an RKO, but Cena pushed him away. Cena hit the FU on Batista. Batista hit the Batista Bomb on Orton but he kicked out at 2. Orton pinned Batista after a DDT.

Match 3. Jericho vs. Vader
Y2J was completely dominated Vader in the early going. Vader squashed Jericho in the corner. Jericho wasn't fazed has he hit a bulldog. Hogan ran down to the ring. Jericho hit the Codebreaker on Hogan and then one on Vader. Vader needed some insurance so he grabbed a chair and clocked Y2J two times on the skull. Jericho put the Walls of Jericho on Vader outside the ring. He tapped out.

Main Event. Goldberg vs. Nash
Could this be a preview of the PPV match? Steiner was shown in the front row with a ticket. Goldberg brought in a chair and clocked Nash over the head. Nash hit a huge right hand to Goldberg's jaw. Nash went to grab another chair, but Goldberg followed. Nash flipped Goldberg over his head and pinned him.

After the match, Nash was celebrating but Mr. Ass ran down and hit Nash over the head with his tag title.

Recap: I was thinking, Al Snow returned from injury but he's not officially off the "DL". Maybe he got re-injured. Everyone is back but him. I don't mind, I'm just curious. Keep watching this. There are going to be more surprises in the next couple of months. Nash pinned the champ. Mr. Ass is STILL attacking the nWo.

September Week 2, Year 2

Goldust and Steve Blackman have also announced their retirement. I hope them the best in their futures.

Raw
Match 1. JBL vs. Farooq
Bradshaw turned heel and with the heel turn came JBL's cockiness. Farooq is looking to get some revenge on his former partner. JBL hit a powerbomb. Farooq hit the Dominator on JBL soon after. Farooq hit a back breaker then a pin but only got a 2 count. JBL hit another powerbomb and the Clothesline from Hell and won.

After the match, As JBL was leaving the ring, Angle appeared at the top of the ramp. He ran down and threw him into the post and steps.

Match 2. Undertaker vs. Triple H
Taker hit a side slam. Triple H came back with a piledriver. Taker went for the Last Ride but The Game reversed it. He tried it again and it was successful. Kane's music hit and he made his way to the ring. Taker was distracted and he received a Pedigree but he kicked out. Kane then hit a chokeslam. HHH hit another Pedigree and got win. The number one contender pinned the champ.

Match 3. Stone Cold vs. X-Pac
Why is this match happening? Pac was heading down the ramp, but Test attacked him from behind and tossed him into the ring. Austin went for the Stunner but X-Pac reversed it into the X-Factor. Later, Austin flipped off Pac and hit a DDT. The match spilled to the outside where Austin hit the Stunner and won.

After the match, Sting came out and attacked Austin with a pipe.

Main Event. Steel Cage - Angle vs. Kane vs. Test  #1 Contender's Match
I will be controlling Test to make sure he doesn't win. I do remember myself controlling HHH and winning a contender's match. Kane was kicking my ass while Angle German suplexed him out of nowhere. Test somehow got on the top rope but Angle pulled him down. He hit the Angle Slam on Kane and began climbing. I, as Test, kept Kane occupied so he didn't pull Angle down.

Nitro
Match 1. Varsity Club vs. nWo  WCW Tag Team Championship
Hennig and Luger have been on a tear since losing their first match. Varsity Club was dominating the nWo individually but then they began double teaming. Mr. Perfect pinned Hall but Nash broke it up and all four men were going at it. Nash hit two Jackknifes on Luger but he began his comeback. He tagged in Mr. Perfect. Hall pinned Luger in the middle of the ring to retain.

Match 2. Savage vs. Jericho
This is a non-title match. Savage already used his title shot. Jericho tried making Macho Man tap with a sleeper hold but to no avail. Savage clotheslined Jericho over the top to the outside. He hit a sidewalk slam in front of the announcers. Jericho dropped Savage and locked in the Walls of Jericho, but he broke out. Jericho hit the Codebreaker and scored the victory.

After the match, Vader came out and attacked Jericho with a pipe.

Match 3. Warrior vs. Jarrett
If Jarrett loses, then he will be fired. Since Vince controls both brands, he can do what he wants. I hope Double J loses because I have something in store with him in the future. Warrior held Jarrett over his head and dropped him. He pinned him after and won.

After the match, Jarrett raised Warrior's arm in celebration.

Main Event. Goldberg vs. Sting
These two were going at it back and forth. Steiner ran down and attacked Sting. Goldberg was shocked. Since the attack, Sting could not recover. He was getting destroyed by Goldberg. The match finally ended with a short-arm clothesline by Goldberg.

After the match, Sting low blowed Goldberg.

Recap: I wonder if HHH and Angle will both challenge for the WWF Title. Jarrett turned face. Too bad he's fired.

September Week 1, Year 2

Raw
Match 1. 6-man Battle Royal - Rock vs. Triple H vs. HBK vs. Show vs. Edge vs. Bradshaw
This is an over the top battle royal. Bradshaw tossed Rock out first. Michaels was eliminated next by Bradshaw. Show tossed out Triple H. Edge was eliminated. Show and Bradshaw remain. Bradshaw and Show could not eliminate each other. Show finally tossed out Bradshaw to win.

Match 2. Sting vs. Stone Cold
Another dream match for Austin. Stone Cold was on his way to the ring when Sting came out from under it and stomped on him. Sting was going for the Scorpion Death Drop but it was reversed. The match finally made its way into the ring and Austin woke up. Sting dropped his elbow across Austin's neck and pinned him.

After the match, Sting grabbed a chair and went to smash Austin's ankle. Kane appeared at the ramp and ran down and took out Sting.

Match 3. Undertaker vs. Kane
The WWF Champ is taking out his brother. We saw Kane earlier saving Austin from Sting's attack. Ken Shamrock was shown walking down the ring holding a chair. Taker hit Kane with a Tombstone. Edge ran down to the ring. Kane got up and hit his own Tombstone. Edge and Shamrock were going at it. Taker hit the Last Ride but Kane broke out of the Tombstone and hit another one. Taker sat right back up. Taker pinned Kane after some elbows to the neck.

Main Event. Test vs. ??? Angle
Al Snow and Angle are still listed as injured. It most likely is one of them, hopefully Angle. Yes! It's Angle! Test hit an awesome modified sidewalk slam. Test brought in the steel steps, trying to put Angle back on the shelf. Angle hit the Angle Slam but only got a 1 count. He hit another one, but Test got up and used the steps. Edge ran down to the ring and attacked Test. Angle hit two more Angle Slams and pinned Test on the ramp.

Nitro
Match 1. Varsity Club vs. Eddie and Rey
With Nash in a match each week, I can't put the tag titles on the line. The ref was knocked out. I didn't see how it happened. Eddie went for a chair but he was met by Mr. Perfect. Rey was taking care of Hennig while Eddie went for the chair again. Rey was put in the Torture Rack and he had no choice but to tap.

Match 2. Booker vs. Jarrett
During the commercial, Regal announced his retirement from WCW. Booker hit his spine buster. Jarrett hit the Pedigree. Was that his finisher at one point? He then hit The Stroke, but Booker kicked out at 2.9. Booker brought in two chairs. Jarrett hit another Pedigree and knocked out Booker.

Match 3. Goldberg vs. Nash w/ Steiner
It looks like Nash will only face Goldberg if he has Steiner at his side. Goldberg picked up a chair and took out Nash and Steiner. Nash recovered and hit a chokeslam. Goldberg was thrown out of the ring and Steiner threw him into the turn post. Nash hit the Jackknife and got a 2-count. Nash pinned Goldberg after a running neck breaker.

Main Event. RVD vs. Sting
What?! The Whole Damn Show is on Nitro? Why? There were reversals in the early part of this match. Sting was going for the Scorpion Death Drop but RVD reversed it. RVD hit the Five Star Frog Splash, but Sting got up. Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop and got the victory.

Recap: Austin and Kane were once enemies but now they are saving each other from the WCW invader. This Taker/Kane match was awesome. So much back and forth. Kane is now a face, ugh. Raw was awesome!

August Week 4, Year 2

This is the long stretch between PPVs - 5 weeks.

Raw
Match 1. 6-man Tag - The Outlaws and X-Pac vs. Hardys and Scotty too Hotty
Scotty and the Hardys worked well as a team. They kept their opponent isolated in their corner. X-Pac hit Scotty with the X-Factor but he kicked out at 2. There were a lot of double team moves. This 20-minute match ended with Mr. Ass hitting Scotty with the Fame-Asser and pinned him.

Match 2. Kane vs. Austin
About a minute into the match, Sting ran down and attacked both men. After the interference, it was a back and forth match. Stone Cold went for the Stunner but Kane pushed him away and hit the chokeslam. Austin kicked out at 2. Kane received a Stunner but was right back up. Out of nowhere he hit the Tombstone. Kane was going for a sidewalk slam, but Austin reversed it into a Russian leg sweep and pinned him to win.

After the match, Sting entered the ring as Austin was leaving. Austin turned around and clotheslined Sting out of the ring.

Match 3. Taker vs. Holly
This is a strange match that Universe booked, but it is champ vs. champ. Holly was in control early as he hit a couple of suplexes. Taker hit a side slam. Holly came back with the Alabama Slam. Holly went for an elbow drop to the outside but Taker moved. Taker won as he knocked Holly out with the Tombstone.

Main Event. Triple H vs. Test  #1 Contender's Match
I will controlling Triple H because the winner will face Taker for the WWF Title. X-Pac made things a little easier as he attacked Test from behind. I was dominating Test for most of the match. He did get some offense because I couldn't reverse. I hit him with the spine buster then the Pedigree to win.

After the match, Triple H grabbed a chair and put it on Test's ankle. Then, HBK's music hit! He ran down to the ring and attacked The Game.

Nitro
Match 1. Warrior vs. Flair
Warrior hit a back drop. Flair did his patented nut grab. Neither man was willing to lose. Warrior picked Flair up over his head and dropped him. He pinned him right after. This match was all Warrior. Flair looked weak tonight.

Match 2. Regal vs. Bret vs. Chavo
A very unorthodox triple threat. The only thing I don't like about 3-way matches is that the guy not involved in the pin breaks it up. I know that's the point, but the match takes forever. Chavo hit the Gory Special on Bret and he immediately left the ring. Bret won with the Sharpshooter on Chavo.

Match 3. Jericho vs. Hogan vs. Vader
For some reason, blood was off in my options. So I turned it on. Lucky for Vader that he got involved in this storyline because he was close to being future endeavored. Vader hit a German suplex on Jericho. Hogan was taking on Vader and Jericho brought in a chair. This match took forever for the reason I mentioned above. Hogan won by knocking out Vader with some right hands.

Main Event. Goldberg vs. Steiner
Looks like Nash is taking a break from Goldberg. Steiner was hitting Goldberg with all types of suplexes. There was a t-bone, then a belly-to-belly and a standard one. The match spilled on to the outside. Goldberg hit the Jackhammer and took control after that. They made their way to the ramp. Goldberg knocked Steiner out with the spear.

Recap: So much for Kane and Sting being a team. HBK is back! What a way to return.

August Week 3, Year 2

Goldberg introduced the new WCW Title. It's a new day in WCW.

Raw
Match 1. Extreme Rules - Rikishi vs. Foley vs. Blackman vs. Bradshaw  Hardcore Championship
This is the first step in Bradshaw's heel run. Rikishi grabbed a title from a fan and Blackman brought in a ladder. Rikishi is bringing in weapon after weapon. First it was a chair, then a garbage can. There must have been a glitch in the match because for about three minutes, Foley picked up and dropped the title without doing anything with it. Rikishi retained after a belly-to-back suplex on Foley.

Match 2. Austin vs. Kane w/ Sting
Sting making his second appearance on Raw. Why? Sting was on the apron while Kane and Austin were fighting. Austin took a break and went after Sting, but that wasn't a good idea as Kane regained control. Austin hit a powerbomb on Kane. Austin went for a Stunner but Kane blocked it and went for a chokeslam but Austin blocked that. He was able to hit two Stunners, but no pin attempt. After a back body drop, Austin got the win.

Match 3. New Age Outlaws vs. Corporation
Despite being a face, Test was teaming up with his heel partner. Shamrock went to grab a chair and Road Dogg followed but he got caught in a double team. There was a lot of tag team action. The Outlaws tried building some momentum, but the Corporation had their number. Test pinned Mr. Ass for the win.

Main Event. TLC - Taker vs. ??? Al Snow
Could HBK be returning? Nope, it's Al Snow. Now, I'm kind of bummed. Taker was climbing the ladder but Snow pushing the ladder and Taker fell through a table. Taker got sat right up. Taker seemed pissed as he hit Snow with a Tombstone out of nowhere. Austin ran from the crowd and entered the ring. Austin hit Snow with a Stunner while Taker grabbed the briefcase.

Nitro
Match 1. Pink Slip Match - Jarrett vs. Saturn
The loser will be fired. Both men were making a case on why they should be kept. Jarrett hit a Pedigree, but Saturn wasn't affected. Jarrett hit The Stroke but Saturn kicked out at 2. Jarrett kept the attack strong as he hit a pump handle drop to win.

Match 2. 4 Horsemen vs. Varsity Club
This is a tornado tag match. Two technical wrestlers going at it with two showmen. Perfect and Luger dominated Benoit and Malenko. Hennig pinned Malenko with a swinging neck breaker. The Varsity Club is working their way up in the tag ranks with a win tonight.

Match 3. Jericho vs. Hogan
Before the match started, Vader took a seat next to the announcers. Each man had their run on offense. Hogan used his strength when Jericho was using his speed. Hogan hit a huge back breaker and then reversed Jericho running into a power slam. After a clothesline in the turnbuckle, Hogan scored the pin.

After the match, Vader entered the ring and attacked Jericho. Hogan made the save and tossed Vader out of the ring.

Main Event. Goldberg vs. Nash w/ Steiner
Nash ran to the ring and took down Goldberg. I thought this feud was over at Summerslam. These two were in the corner fighting. Steiner hopped up in the apron and suplexed Goldberg to the outside. This match picked up right where the hell in a cell left off. Nash won with the Jackknife.

After the match, Steiner grabbed a chair and hit Goldberg. He then handed the chair to Nash who hit him another time.

Recap: Raw was very entertaining. I'm curious to see where the Sting/Kane pairing is going. Jarrett survives another week on Nitro. WCW is a little more tame than WWF right now.

SUMMERSLAM, Year 2

Wow, this card is horrible. Besides the two title matches, I have to change the other four.

Match 1. New Age Outlaws w/ X-Pac vs. Edge and Christian  WWF Tag Team Championship
The newly-turned Edge and Christian get a title shot. I wonder if X-Pac will interfere in the match. Edge and Christian were working well as a team. X-Pac made his first appearance as he gave Mr. Ass some advice. A few minutes later NAO were in control, beating down both Edge and Christian. Gunn made the hot tag to Dogg and Edge did the same. The Outlaws retain after a double gut buster to Christian.

Match 2. WWF vs. WCW - Stone Cold vs. DDP
The dream match that never happened. Stone Cold hit the Lou Thesz Press on DDP. Austin hit a Stunner then a piledriver. Austin reversed DDP into a bulldog and pinned him for the win.

Match 3. Arn Anderson vs. Booker T vs. Chris Jericho  United States Championship
This match was going to be tough for Arn. Jericho left the ring to take a breather while the other two beat each other up. When Jericho got back in the ring, he received a Book End and a DDT by Anderson. Anderson hit Booker with a running neckbeaker and Jericho capitalized by pinning Booker to win the title.

Match 4. WWF vs. WCW - Triple H vs. Bret Hart
The Game had Hart in the Figure Four, but Hart reversed it. Triple H hit a Pedigree but Hart kicked out at 2. To make sure he wouldn't get up, Triple H pulled out a table. Hart was in control, but it didn't last long. Triple H came back and hit another Pedigree to win.

Match 5. Inferno - Undertaker vs. Kane  WWF Championship
How appropriate is it that these two are in an inferno match? The temperature reached 500 degrees a couple of times early in the match, but nothing happened. The fourth time it reached the high point, Taker threw Kane through the fire to retain the belt.

Main Event. Hell in a Cell - Nash vs. Goldberg  WCW Championship
This is the payoff of weeks of build for this match. Nash hit two chokeslams but no pin attempt. Goldberg hit a Jackhammer and got a long 2-count. Goldberg was taking out all the stops trying to win the belt. Nash hit him with the Jackknife. Out of nowhere, Goldberg hit the spear but Nash reversed the Jackhammer. Goldberg then reversed the Jackknife. The match ended with Goldberg hitting a side belly-to-belly at the 3 count.

Recap: That was a great triple threat match. Hart and Triple H put on one hell of a match. The inferno match was ho-hum. That was the best main event my Universe I've seen.

August Week 2, Year 2

The leader of the 4 Horsemen is a heel. But why?

Raw
Match 1. Cage - Test vs. Christian  Intercontinental Championship
Test was surprised when he heard he had to defend his IC Title. Christian made a couple of early attempts to escape. Since he couldn't escape, Christian hit the Killswitch and tried pinning Test but he kicked out. Test pulled down Christian for the 4th time. He hit a swinging neckbreaker and got the 3 count.

After the match, Christian raised Test's hand in victory. What class shown by Christian.

Match 2. Holly vs. Edge
Unlike his partner's match, Edge will not be fighting for the title. Austin ran down to the ring and went after Holly. Austin hit him with the Stone Cold Stunner. Despite that, Holly hit Edge with the Falcon Arrow and the Alabama Slam. Holly reversed Edge's spear from the top rope. He hit another Falcon Arrow and pinned Edge for the win.

Match 3. Stone Cold vs. Kane
These two have had some epic matches earlier in the year. They are both looking to get back to the top and face Taker for the WWF Title. Taker made his way to the ring and took a seat with the announcers. Kane hit a pump handle drop. Austin went for a powerbomb, but Kane reversed it and pinned him to score the win.

After the match, Kane was celebrating like a mid-carder. He did grab a chair to punish Austin, but Sting ran down! He took the chair from Kane, yet he hit Austin himself.

Main Event. Undertaker vs. Triple H
With the previous match and this one, I'm seeing a preview of the Brothers of Destruction vs. The Power Trip. Taker hit Triple H with the Tombstone but got a 2 count. Road Dogg ran down to the ring and hit Taker with the pump handle slam. Triple H made his comeback and hit the Pedigree for the win.

After the match, Triple H was going to leave the ring, but he turned around and continued stomping.

Nitro
Match 1. DDP vs. Scott Hall
DDP still hasn't hinted and when or where he's going to cash in his title shot. Scott Hall was in complete control over WCW's People's Champ. He hit two Outsider's Edge in a row, yet no pin attempt was made. Hall dropped an elbow to the back of DDP's head and scored the pin.

Match 2. Vader vs. Bagwell
I couldn't think of a match so I just hit random for each superstar and this is what came out. I'm not expecting much from this match. Just a filler leading into the pay-per-view. The match ended with Vader hitting the Vader-bomb.

Match 3. Jericho vs. Hogan
After being held apart for a week, these two are going back at it for the final time before Summerslam. Before the match started, Vader was seen in the front row with a ticket. Didn't he just fight? Couldn't he watch from the back or next to the announcers? This was a very good, back and forth match. The match ended as Hogan was going for a big boot but Jericho reversed it into a roll-up and won.

After the match, Vader ran in the ring and attacked both men.

Main Event. Nash vs. Goldberg
Goldberg was walking down the ramp when Steiner appeared and knocked him out. This match was mostly controlled by Nash. It ended after he hit a sidewalk slam on the outside of the ring.

After the match, Nash grabbed a chair and hit Goldberg a couple of times.

Recap: With Summerslam six days away, there has been a lot of invasion between the two shows in the past couple of weeks. Christian is a face. Sting is officially back and turned heel. Raw is short on heels while Nitro is short on faces. Well, I put Vader in a match for the first time in weeks and he shows up during an important rivalry.

August Week 1, Year 2

There has been another retirement. Mr. McMahon will no longer compete for the WWF. Summerslam is next Sunday. What will the matches be?

Raw
Match 1. Rikishi vs. Foley
Champ taking on former champ. Goldust ran out from the stands with a chair and hung around ringside. He eventually came into the ring and hit Foley with the chair. Foley hit Mr. Socko and the double-arm DDT, but it wasn't enough. Rikishi won after hitting the Rikishi Driver.

Match 2. X-Pac and Bradshaw vs. Test and ???
A random tag match if I say so myself. Even though he had a mystery partner, Test came out alone. This match was mostly a singles match between Pac and Test. X-Pac pinned Test with a hurricanrana roll-up.

After the match, Goldust was in the ring checking on Test. Pac and Bradshaw grabbed chairs and hit them both.

Match 3. Stone Cold vs. Triple H
Edge ran down to the ring, but didn't do anything. As Edge was leaving, Austin hit the Stunner. Triple H hit the Pedigree on Austin, then hit his third piledriver. Triple H hit the knee smash and the spine buster. He hit another Pedigree and won.

Main Event. Kane Test vs. Angle vs. Undertaker
Kane walked down and introduced Test as his replacement. Test and Taker hit Angle with weapons. Taker hit Test with a full nelson slam. Taker then hit Angle with two Tombstones.

After the match, a WWF official checked on Angle.

Nitro
Match 1. Benoit vs. Jericho vs. Eddie vs. Chavo
A four-way match featuring four of the best technical wrestlers. Jericho hit the Codebreaker on Chavo. Benoit hit the three German suplexes on Eddie. Benoit made Eddie tap out despite Jericho's attempt to break it up.

Match 2. Ultimo Dragon vs. Rey Mysterio
This is a non-title match. Both cruiserweights were taking a lot of risks to help them win the match.  Ultimo reversed Rey into a double underhook powerbomb. Rey hit a frog splash from the top and pinned Dragon.

Match 3. Savage vs. Hogan
The Mega Powers are going at it tonight. It was supposed to be Jericho and Hogan, but the four-way match caused a change in the card. During the match, Flair came out and attacked Savage. Flair helped Hogan! Even with Flair's help, Hogan hit Savage with a chair. Hogan pinned Savage after his "Hulking Up" punches.

After the match, Hogan grabbed another chair and put Savage's ankle in it. He was interrupted by the returning Farooq.

Main Event. Nash vs. Hall vs. Goldberg
Hall was making his way to the ring when Mr. Ass hit him from behind. I thought they were done with that. To put everyone else at his level, Hall grabbed a sledgehammer and hit both Nash and Goldberg. Nash hit Goldberg with the Jackknife, but Hall broke up the pin. Hall hit Goldberg with the Outsider's Edge but Nash broke up the pin. After a chop block, Goldberg pinned Hall.

Recap: Bradshaw is a heel. Farooq returned. Angle is injured. Al Snow, Angle, and HBK are all injured on Raw. The Sheamus/Show match is still a remarkable match on Nitro despite neither man on the roster. What was Flair's motive to help Hogan?

I regret to inform you that after losing the United States Title, Steamboat has decided to retire.

Rock was able to hit a superplex early in the match. Show returned the favor with a huge powerbomb. Rock hit another superplex a little later. Despite that, Show hit Rock with the WMD, but he got up. After the alley-oop, Big Show pinned Rock for the win.

Match 2. Triple H vs. Christian vs. Mark Henry

Austin was heading to the ring, but Kane came out from under it and beat him down. During the match, Austin and Edge teamed up for a short period of time and punched out Kane. Austin received a thunderous chokeslam by Kane. Edge won by hitting Austin with a German suplex pin.

After the match, Edge and Austin shook hands and raised arms in celebration.

Main Event. Taker vs. Angle
The WWF champ is taking on a possible challenger. Taker beat his brother, Kane, at Money in the Bank. Taker hit the Tombstone but only got a 2 count. Taker won the match after hitting a running DDT on Angle.

After the match, Kane ran down and hit Taker with the WWF Title.

Nitro
Match 1. DDP vs. Scott Hall
Mr. Money in the Bank taking on one half of the WCW Tag champs. In case you missed it, Hall celebrated with Nash after his victory at the PPV. Hall tried to cheat his way to victory by putting his feet on the ropes during a pin. Halfway into the match, DDP hit the Diamond Cutter. Page pinned Hall after a mudhole stomping in the corner.

Match 2. Eddie and Rey vs. Varsity Club
For those of you who didn't see, Mr. Perfect and Lex Luger formed the team Varsity Club. This was a tornado tag team match. Hennig hit a swinging neckbreaker on Eddie. Rey fell victim to the Torture Rack and no choice but to tap.

Match 3. Jericho vs. Hogan
Behind the referee's back, Hulk took out brass knuckles and hit Jericho in the jaw. The match spilled out in front of the announcer's table. Jericho hit an enziguri then a Codebreaker. Jericho reversed Hogan's back body drop into a roll-up and got the 3.

After the match, Hogan and Jericho continued their fighting on the ramp. They were broken up by several referees and officials

Main Event. Nash vs. Goldberg
Both men went back and forth during the early going. Steiner ran down to the ring. Nash reversed the Jackhammer. Steiner then hit a belly-to-belly on Goldberg. Nash hit the Jackknife but got a 1 count. Goldberg finally hit the Jackhammer and won.

Recap: Edge has turned face after his post-match actions with Austin. Damn,WWE is losing heel after heel.

MONEY IN THE BANK, Year 2

Besides a couple of the non-title matches, the card looks pretty good.

Match 1. Money in the Bank Ladder - Rock vs. Austin vs. Christian vs. Flair vs. DDP vs. Chavo
This could be a very interesting ladder match. Austin was the first one to bring a ladder into the ring. Flair brought the second ladder in the ring. Christian made the first attempt at grabbing the briefcase. Austin took his shot at it, but Chavo pulled him down. While everyone was fighting each other, Rock tried being sneaky and climbed up the ladder. He was caught by Christian who brought him down. Out of nowhere, DDP was able to climb the ladder and pull down the briefcase.

Match 2. Angle vs. Test  Intercontinental Title
Angle won the belt last month. Can Test reclaim it? To wear Angle down, Test put him in two bear hugs. Test hit his finisher on Angle outside the ring. Angle returned the favor with an Angle Slam in the ring. Angle hit a German suplex but only got a 2 count. Test got up, hit a running knee to the skull and got the win.

Match 3. New Age Outlaws vs. Hardys  WWF Tag Team Championship
Road Dogg hit a superplex on Matt Hardy. The Hardys hit Poetry in Motion on Road Dogg. The match got out of control as the steps were brought into the ring and all four men went at it at the same time. During all the chaos, Jeff hit the Twist of Fate on Road Dogg. The NAO retained the titles after Billy Gunn low blowed Matt Hardy and pinned him afterward.

Match 4. Ricky Steamboat vs. Arn Anderson  United States Championship
Just two days after defending his title against Macho Man, Steamboat does it again. Anderson was giving an old school beat down to The Dragon. Double A hit a single-leg corkscrew and then pinned Steamboat to win the US Title.

Match 5. Kane vs. Taker  WWF Championship
Kane was dominating his brother through the early going. Taker brought the match the outside and hit a leg drop across Kane's throat. Taker broke out of Kane's chokeslam and in turn hit the Tombstone. Kane received a big boot and a leg drop, then was pinned 1-2-3.

After the match, Taker was leaving the ring but Triple H's music hit. The Game ran down and threw Taker into the steps.

Main Event. Last Man Standing - Nash vs. Goldberg  WCW Championship
How fitting that after what Nash did to Goldberg on Nitro that they are in a LMS match. As Goldberg was heading to the ring, Steiner attacked him from behind. I guess Nash had to make sure we retained the title. Soon after the match started, Nash hit the Jackknife but Goldberg got up at 2. Nash hit a back body drop and then a big boot. Goldberg couldn't get up from that and Nash retained.

After the match, Scott Hall came in the ring and hugged Nash.

Recap: Triple H returned and it looks like Taker has his next opponent. Overall, this was a great card with a couple of titles changing hands. It looks like all is well with the WCW Tag champs.

July Week 3, Year 2

Money in the Bank is this Sunday. I wonder who will be in the ladder match.

Raw
Match 1. Taker and HBK vs. Test and Shamrock
An odd pairing of Mchaels and The Deadman taking on members of the Corporation. HBK and Test started off the match. HBK hit Test with two consecutive piledrivers. Taker and Michaels were working well as a team. Michaels chased Shamrock out of the ring but was trapped by Test as well. Taker hit the Tombstone on Test but Shamrock broke it up at the last minute. Shamrock pinned HBK after a running neckbreaker.

After the match, an EMT checked on Michaels. He wasn't moving.

Match 2. Foley vs. Al Snow
Foley was dominating Snow for the first couple of minutes. These two will have future shots at the Hardcore Title in the next month. Foley locked Mr. Socko on Snow. Foley won after the double-arm DDT.

After the match, Al Snow was carried away on a stretcher.

Match 3. Stone Cold and Edge vs. Holly and Kane
This is the rematch from last week's tag match. Austin came down to the ring along. No one knew where Edge was. Holly and Kane both had their way with Stone Cold. Kane hit Austin with a chokeslam then pinned him.

After the match, Edge checked on Austin but Kane hit him with a chair.

Main Event. Angle vs. ??? Triple H
Triple H is his opponent! After weeks of teaming up, Triple H turned on Angle. Angle was taken by surprise when Triple H's music hit. Angle went for a moonsault, but HHH put his knees up to block it. Triple H hit a hard back drop on Angle then took out his left leg to score the pin.

Nitro
Match 1. 4-man Battle Royal - Warrior vs. Regal vs. Jarrett vs. Booker
Warrior and Jarrett went for eliminations very early. They succeeded as Regal and Booker were tossed out simultaneously. Warrior and Jarrett remained. Warrior eventually kicked Jarrett out of the ring to win.

Match 2. Savage vs. Steamboat  United States Championship
Savage is cashing in his title shot that he won at King of the Ring. This match should be a classic. Macho Man hit a couple of neck breakers. Steamboat fought back with a combination of kicks. Steamboat retained the title by hitting a powerful missile dropkick off the top rope.

Match 3. Jericho vs. Hogan
Before the match started, Hulk put his hand out for a handshake. Jericho fell for it as Hogan kicked him in the stomach. Hogan hit Jericho with a suplex. He then went for a body slam, but Jericho reversed it into a suplex of his own. Outside the ring, Hogan hit Jericho with the "Hulking Up" punches and pinned him to win.

After the match, Jericho was leaving the ring but Hogan continued the assault.

Main Event. Nash vs. Goldberg
The ref was checking Goldberg for a weapon while Nash was putting on brass knuckles. He hit Goldberg in the jaw with them and down he went. Scott Hall ran down to the ring while Goldberg hit the Jackhammer. When he was done, Hall hit him with the Outsider's Edge. Goldberg went after him. Even after receiving another Jackhammer, Nash was able to pin Goldberg after he hit a back drop.

After the match, Nash grabbed a chair and hit Goldberg a few times.

Recap: Michaels is injured. Sucks man. Al Snow is also injured but I'm not too concerned with him. Why did Triple H decide to face Angle? However, Triple H is still listed as injured.

July Week 2, Year 2

Raw
Match 1. Gauntlet - Big Show vs. Jeff, Matt and Steve Blackman
Show will face each man individually. Can he defeat all 3? Jeff proved to be a challenge to Show in the first match. Jeff won the match by hitting a Twist of Fate after reversing the Showstopper.

Match 2. Rock vs. Undertaker
The People's Champ vs. The Deadman. Taker was putting Rock in a bunch of different holds. This match was all Taker. He hit the Last Ride and Tombstone, but didn't pin Rock. He went outside and grabbed a sledgehammer. Taker hit another Tombstone to secure the win.

Match 3. Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Angle and Triple H
Scotty was waiting for his opponents, but Angle attacked him from behind. Triple H was tagged in, hit the Pedigree and pinned Scotty.

After the match, Triple H grabbed a chair just like last week. However, Lawler ran in and made the save.

Main Event. Kane and Holly vs. Edge and ??? Austin
Edge's partner is Stone Cold! Kane and Edge started the match. Kane hit Edge with a chokeslam surprisingly early. However, Edge was able to get up and tag in Austin. Holly and Kane continued to double team Edge, with Austin having to break up pin attempts. Holly hit Austin with the Falcon Arrow suplex and then a double underhook back breaker to knock out Stone Cold.

Nitro
Match 1. Chavo vs. Ultimo Dragon vs. Rey  Cruiserweight Title
It was every man for himself as soon as the bell rang. I wonder what Eddie thinks of his partner going for a single's title. The champ was at risk of losing his title many times. Chavo hit Ultimo with the Gory Bomb. Rey hit Chavo with the 619 and senton splash. Dragon brought in a chair for some insurance. Dragon hit Chavo with an inverted float-over DDT to knock the champ out. Dragon is the new champ!

Match 2. Eddie vs. Steamboat
If Rey can compete in singles action, so can Eddie. This is a non-title match. Eddie hit Three Amigos on the champ. He then hit another high-angle suplex and pinned Steamboat.

Match 3. Jericho vs. Savage
Hogan attacked Jericho as he was making his way to the ring. Savage has a title shot for any belt in WCW after winning the battle royal. Despite the attack, Jericho was showing The Macho Man his technical skills. Savage took his turn on offense. Jericho won after a Codebreaker.

After the match, Vince came out to announce Jericho had another opponent.

Match 4. Jericho vs. Hogan
Hogan took advantage of Jericho's weaken state. Surprisingly, Jericho was still on top of his game, putting the hurt on Hogan. Out of nowhere, Jericho hit the Codebreaker, but Hogan kicked out at two. A couple of minutes later, Jericho caught Hogan in a roll-up and won.

Main Event. Nash vs. Goldberg
No Scott Hall this week. It looks like Goldberg is the #1 contender for Nash's WCW Title. Nash hit Goldberg with a chokeslam and a tilt-a-whirl slam. Goldberg turned it up and hit Nash with a side kick. Nash hit Goldberg with a Jackknife but it was only a 2 count. Goldberg hit the Jackhammer and pinned the champ in the middle of the ring.

Recap: I'm liking this team of Angle and Triple H. Lawler is a face because of his alliance with Scotty. First McMahon, then Test and now Lawler? What a strange turn of events in WWE. Vince runs WCW? Jericho won two matches in the same night. He's moving up in WCW.

July Week 1, Year 2

Raw
Match 1. 4-Way - Shamrock vs. Holly vs. Blackman vs. Jeff Hardy  European Title
Holly and Shamrock went at it while Blackman and Jeff locked up. Jeff hit a springboard DDT on Blackman. Blackman was going for his finisher on Holly, but Jeff broke it up. Jeff had Blackman pinned but Shamrock broke it up at 2.9. Holly tried his shot at pinning Blackman and he was successful. Holly is the new European Champion.

Match 2. Test vs. Rikishi vs. Henry
This is a non-title triple threat match. Test stayed away while Rikishi and Henry went at it. That didn't last long as Rikishi trapped Test in a bear hug. The match ended with Henry hitting Rikishi with the World's Strongest Slam and knocking him out.

Match 3. Lawler Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Angle and Triple H
This doesn't seem fair for The King. I wonder if he has something up his sleeve. Lawler came out holding his arm. Scotty 2 Hotty replaced him. Be careful Scotty, you could get injured. Early on, Scotty hit Angle with a super hurricanrana. As if the 2 on 1 advantage wasn't enough, Angle brought in a chair. He hit an Angle Slam to knock out Scotty.

After the match, Triple H brought in a chair and continued the attack on Scotty 2 Hotty.

Main Event. Stone Cold vs. Edge
Edge was on his way to the ring, but Bradshaw attacked him from behind. Without Farooq, I guess Bradshaw needs to do something. Edge was able to wake up and defend himself. Austin stomped a mudhole in Edge then hit the Stone Cold Stunner. Austin pinned Edge after a running clothesline.

After the match, Kane hit Austin in the head with the WWF Title.

Nitro
Match 1. Benoit and Malenko vs. Steiner and Bagwell
This tornado tag match could determine the next contenders for the WCW Tag Titles. The representatives of the 4 Horsement are showing their skills to Steiner and Bagwell. This match was mostly Benoit and Malenko. It ended with Benoit pinning Steiner after a knee to the gut.

Match 2. Bret Hart vs. Chris Jericho
Two submission experts going at it in the ring. Hart and Jericho went back and forth with grapples and strikes. Jericho hit Bret with the Codebreaker but Bret kicked out at 2. Bret knocked Jericho to the outside, then went after him. Bret won after an arm drag leg drop combo.

Match 3. Sting vs. Vader
Sting was having a hard time getting Vader off his feet early. But he was able to reverse some of Vader's moves. Vader used his strength to hit a huge powerbomb on Sting. Vader went for a chokeslam but Sting reversed it. After the third powerbomb, Vader pinned Sting.

After the match, a WCW official checked on Sting, who was face down in the ring.

Main Event. Nash vs. Hall vs. Goldberg
Nash hit the first move, hitting Scott Hall with a back drop. I thought this would be a handicap match, but Hall and Nash were going after each other. Goldberg brought a chair into the match to even the odds. Goldberg hit a spear on Nash and won the match.

After the match, Nash threw a temper tantrum and punched Michael Cole.

Recap: Is the nWo slowly falling apart? Sting is injured. His return is questionable.

June Week 4, Year 2

Raw lost both of the cross-brand matches. WCW has taken over the #1 spot.

Raw
Match 1. Hardyz vs. Edge and Christian
Matt and Christian started things off. Each team incorporated double team moves into their attack. After many tags, Edge speared Matt but Jeff broke up the pin. Jeff went for a Twist of Fate but Christian reversed it into the Killswitch. Jeff was able to hit the Twist of Fate on Edge, but he kicked out at one. In a surprise to me, Christian hit Matt with the spear and won.

Match 2. 6-man Tag - X-Pac and New Age Outlaws vs. APA and Godfather
Road Dogg and Godfather started it off, but they both quickly tagged out. The APA and Godfather were keeping their opponents in their corner. DX was causing all types on confusing, having all three members in at once. After much back and forth action, X-Pac scored the pin on Farooq after an X-Factor.

After the match, the ref checked on Farooq.

Match 3. Lawler and Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Angle and Triple H
Scotty 2 Hotty makes his Raw debut. And it looks like The Game is recovered from his injury. Lawler and Angle get things going. Angle quickly tagged in Triple H. If Scotty can win here, he would be launched into Superstardom. Triple H hit Scotty with a running clothesline for the win.

Main Event. Taker vs. Big Show
Show used his strength to dismantle Taker. The match ended up on the outside where show threw Taker into the steps. Taker got very little offense in during the match. Out of nowhere, Taker hit Old School then the Tombstone, but Show kicked out at 2. After a side slam, Taker got the 3 count.

After the match, Austin came in and raised Taker's arm in celebration.

Nitro
Match 1. Mr. Perfect and Luger vs. Eddie and Rey
Another Superstar debuting as Curt Hennig debuts on Nitro. Eddie and Rey are looking to regain their tag titles. Can this new team of Luger and Mr. Perfect beat the former champs and climb the ranks in the tag division? Rey was able to pin Luger after a roll-up. Perfect and Luger are not off to a good start.

Match 2. Savage vs. Jericho
Two of the greatest go at it, looking to move up in the rankings. Savage hit Jericho with a back suplex and a double ax smash from the top rope. These two put on a classic with Jericho picking up the win after a Codebreaker.

After the match, Hogan appeared at the top of the ramp and attacked Jericho.

Match 3. Booker vs. Regal
The technical master William Regal was on offense when the bell rang. The match spilled out in front of the announcers. Regal put Booker in a t-bone suplex pin, but he kicked out. Regal hit his powerbomb and scored the victory.

After the match, Regal grabbed a chair to attack Booker, but Scotty 2 Hotty ran down and saved Booker.

Main Event. Goldberg vs. Scott Hall
Hall was on offense at first, but Goldberg got some moves in, too. Goldberg hit the Jackhammer, but didn't go for a pin. He picked him a chair and clocked Hall over the head. Hall hit the fallaway slam and then the Outsider's Edge. Goldberg kicked out at 2. Goldberg won after a powerslam.

Recap: Farooq is injured for now. Despite the loss, Hennig and Luger formed a team - Varsity Club. Is Hogan a face? Will he leave the nWo? Damn, Scotty is making it known that he's back.

KING OF THE RING, Year 2

The winner of the King of the Ring tournament will receive a shot at their brand's main title at the next PPV. My picks are Goldberg vs. Rock in the finals.

Match 1. Fatal 4-way - Flair vs. Steiner vs. Nash vs. Hall  WCW Championship
This is where Hall is! He's been training for his title match. Is Hall going to go into singles action if he wins? He's still tag champs with Nash. Early in the match, Nash and Hall were going at it, but they quickly separated. Nash hit Steiner with the Jackknife. Steiner returned the favor by hitting Nash with a belly-to-belly suplex. To seal the victory, Nash hit Steiner with a second Jackknife.

Match 2. Test vs. Angle  Intercontinental Championship
With Test now a face, can Angle bring the IC Title to the heel side with the rest of the belts? These two were going back and forth, power move for power move. Despite receiving Test's finisher, Angle hit him with the Angle Slam. To finish it, Angle hit another Angle Slam to win the title.

Match 3. Show vs. Rock vs. HHH  WWE Finals
This is 3/4 of the WrestleMania 2000 main event. HHH and Rock double teamed Show and took him out of the ring for a short amount of time. Triple H was dominating The Rock as Big Show just watched. The Game hit the Pedigree on Big Show. Then Rock hit HHH with the float-over DDT. A few minutes later, Show hit Rock with the Showstopper. Triple H hit Rock with two Pedigrees and knocked him out.

Match 4. Goldberg vs. Malenko vs. Warrior  WCW Finals
Well, I lost the first match. Let's see if my prediction for this one comes true. Malenko was very tactical as he was picking the right times to attack. Goldberg hit Warrior with the Jackhammer. The match continued for another five minutes. Goldberg later hit Malenko with a Jackhammer. This match is definitely over 20 minutes long. Goldberg hit Warrior with a one-handed spinebuster to knock him out.

Match 5. 6-man Battle Royal - Austin vs. Henry vs. Savage vs. Regal vs. DDP vs. Hardcore Holly
The winner will receive a shot at any title on their show. Holly makes his debut for WWE! Mark Henry eliminated Regal. Holly was tossed out. Savage flipped DDP over the ropes. Savage punched Henry off the apron. He and Austin remain. Savage ran his knee into Austin's head for the final elimination.

Main Event. Triple H vs. Goldberg  King of the Ring Finals
Michaels was shown at ringside holding a ticket. Goldberg grabbed a fan's crutch but did nothing with it. Goldberg brought in a garbage can to add to the mess that included a chair and sledgehammer. HHH ended up next to HBK and Michaels punched him. Goldberg hit HHH with a Jackhammer outside the ring. Triple H hit Goldberg with a Pedigree but no pin attempt. Goldberg hit HHH with another Jackhammer to knock him out.

After the match, Triple H was carried away on a stretcher.

Recap: All the WWE titles belong to the heels. Can the babyfaces regain the belts?

June Week 3, Year 2

The last week before the King of the Ring pay-per-view. Al Snow was supposed to be Triple H's opponent last week, not Big Show. I couldn't read my handwriting. So, Triple H moves on to the semis.

Raw
Match 1. Lawler vs. Rock  Semifinals
The King started first on offense but Rocky came back. He hit a couple of elbow drops and a snapmare. Rock advances to WWE's finals after a Rock Bottom.

Match 2. Show vs. Angle  Semifinals
Just like against X-Pac, Show was using his strength. However, Angle is stronger and smarter in the ring. Angle put Show on the top turnbuckle, but he reversed it and speared Angle from the top. Jerry Lawler was shown walking down the ramp with a chair in hand. Edge then appeared in the crowd and hopped over the barricade. Despite all the interference, Show pinned Angle after a full nelson.

Match 3. Foley vs. Triple H  Semifinals
Foley started the match like a bat out of Hell. He attacked Triple H with a knee breaker and a bear hug. He continued with a bulldog and a suplex. Triple H finally woke up. He hit a spinebuster and the Pedigree, but didn't go for the pin. After a few near falls, Foley attempted a Pedigree on Triple H but he reversed it and landed his own to knock out Foley.

After the match, Triple H grabbed a chair but Goldust took it away from him. Triple H left the ring, but Goldust hit Foley anyway.

Main Event. Kane vs. Taker
Will Kane actually face his brother this week? Taker was waiting for Kane to enter, but he attacked him from behind. Kane hit the Tombstone then grabbed a chair. Taker got up and took control. He DDTed Kane on the chair then went for a Last Ride, but Kane reversed it. Taker did hit the Tombstone but Kane got right back up. After much back and forth action, Taker finally hit the Last Ride and ended up knocking out Kane.

Nitro
Match 1. Booker vs. Malenko
Despite being much smaller, Dean was able to execute some high impact moves. Malenko went for a powerbomb, but Booker reversed it. After many suplexes, Malenko hit a high-angle suplex to win.

Match 2. Jarrett vs. Warrior
This was a fast-paced match from the get go. Neither man let their opponent rest. Warrior dropped Jarrett to the mat after a military press. Warrior pinned Jarrett after a back body drop.

Match 3. Nash and Steiner vs. New Age Outlaws
I'm still wondering where Scott Hall is. Nash hit Road Dogg with a super fall away slam. Mr. Ass was on the receiving end of a Jackknife but he was able to escape the ring. After many tags from both teams, Road Dogg pinned Nash after a dropkick to the head.

Main Event. Bret Hart vs. Goldberg
I wish I saw this match during the WCW days. It sucks that Goldberg hurt Bret, though. Bret needed to teach Goldberg a lesson, so he grabbed a chair. Unfortunately for Bret, Goldberg took it from him and hit him on the head. After a Jackhammer then a back body drop, Goldberg pinned Bret to advance.

Recap: Goldust officially returned and is now a heel. The next round of the King of the Ring is set. For WWE, it will be Show vs. Rock vs. Triple H. On the WCW side, it's Malenko vs. Warrior vs. Goldberg.

June Week 2, Year 2

Raw
Match 1. Godfather vs. Mick Foley  Quarterfinal
This is one odd duo that I booked here. Foley had Godfather in a bear hug but he broke out of it. Out of nowhere, Kane's pyro went off and he ran to the ring. He then chokeslammed Godfather and left. Foley hit a double-arm DDT but didn't get the win. After some back and forth, Foley locked in Mr. Socko and soon after got the victory.

Match 2. Rock vs. Christian  Quarterfinal
The winner will face Jerry Lawler next week. The Peeple's Champ was giving a beating to the People's Champ. The match moved to the outside and Rock hit the Rock Bottom to win.

Match 3. Triple H vs. Big Show  Quarterfinal
The last of WWE's first round matches. I wonder if HBK will cost The Game his match. Show was using his strength to teach Triple H a lesson. It seemed like Triple H turned his game on, but it was taking a while to load. Big Show hit the Showstopper but The Game kicked out at 2.9. Show kicked out of a Pedigree at 1. These two were going back and forth with pins, trying to end this match. After many pin attempts, Show finally won after a swinging DDT.

Main Event. Taker vs. Edge
This may be the #1 contender's match next week to see who faces Kane. Taker beat down Edge in every corner of the ring. He hit the Tombstone and then grabbed a chair. This match had a glitch in it - Edge had the chair in his hand during every move. It was quite entertaining. After a few minutes of glitch action, Taker hit another Tombstone to win.

After the match, Edge low blowed Taker as he faked a knee injury.

Nitro
Match 1. Malenko vs. Saturn  Quarterfinal
The winner will take on Booker T next week. Saturn was in control early, put Malenko in a headlock. Flair ran down to the ring to help his Horsemen teammate. Malenko won with a fisherman suplex pin.

Match 2. Savage vs. Goldberg  Quarterfinal
After a minute of reversals, Goldberg gained the upperhand with a mudhole stomping. Savage dug down deep and unleashed his madness. However, it wasn't enough as he received a Jackhammer. The match ended with another Jackhammer outside of the ring.

Match 3. New Age Outlaws vs. nWo
Is Hall going to show up this week or will he still feel some jealousy? I may have missed something, but Steiner is Nash's partner. Nash seemed pissed because he was taking out both members of the Outlaws. Both teams isolated their opponent during the match. After a belly-to-belly and a headbutt, Steiner pinned Mr. Ass outside the ring.

Main Event. Sting vs. Bret Hart  Quarterfinal
This is the final quarterfinal match. Two submission experts in the ring right now. Which move will win - Scorpion Death Lock or the Sharpshooter? Sting was going for the Death Drop, but Bret reversed it. Bret locked him in the Sharpshooter and Sting tapped out.

After the match, Kane and Test were at the top of the ramp. Kane was clapping for Bret.

Recap: The next round is set. WWF- Show vs. Angle; Lawler vs. Rock; Foley vs. Triple H (due to a mistake). WCW - Bret vs. Goldberg; Jarrett vs. Warrior; Malenko vs. Booker. What was the Corporation doing on Nitro?

June Week 1, Year 2

This week begins the King of the Ring tournament. There are 12 Superstars from each show. There will be a triple threat match to find out who represent WWE and WCW. The man who wins their show's match will meet the other winner in the main event of the King of the Ring.

Raw
Match 1. X-Pac vs. Big Show  Quarterfinal
This is going to be a tough first round for X-Pac. Show used his fists to beat down Pac while he was using his speed. Bradshaw ran down to the ring as soon as Pac hit the X-Factor. Show was on the receiving end of many kicks to the head. Despite that, Show stepped on the chest of X-Pac and picked up the win.

Match 2. Lawler vs. Michaels  Quarterfinal
This may be Jerry Lawler's first match on Raw. Triple H attacked Michaels as he was heading to the ring. That may have been the only way Lawler could win. HBK was able to recover and defend himself. After hitting two piledrivers, Lawler advances.

After the match, Angle returned and threw Lawler into the steps and turnpost.

Match 3. Angle vs. Henry  Quarterfinal
Since Kurt just returned, he will be competing in the KOTR tournament. Lawler ran down and attacked Henry. Angle is shocked. He continued his attack and his a German suplex. After a couple of more moves, Angle pinned Henry to move on to the semis.

After the match, Lawler and Lord Tensai attacked Angle.

Main Event. Iron Man - Kane Ken Shamrock vs. Taker
After Undertaker's inference, Kane wants some revenge. Kane was heading to the ring, but Ken Shamrock seems to be his replacement. Shamrock caught Taker by surprise and was able to mount some offense. It's been five and a half minutes and Taker just scored the first point with a Tombstone. Shamrock went for a pin, but Taker kicked out at 2. Shamrock got pissed and tossed the referee. Oh, it's tied at one (I guess I missed Ken's point). Taker took the lead with another Tombstone. After two huge belly-to-belly suplexes, Shamrock  is up 3-2. Taker quickly tied it with his third Tombstone and then took the lead with a pin. The final was 4-3, Taker.

After the match, Shamrock and Taker continued their fight at the top of the ramp.

Nitro
Match 1. Jarrett vs. Regal  Quarterfinal
The winner will take on either Jericho or Warrior in 2 weeks. Regal, the technician he is, is taking Jarrett to school. Jarrett got some moves in but nothing to take Regal off his game. The match moves to the outside. Jarrett hit The Stroke and won.

Match 2. Jericho vs. Warrior  Quarterfinal
This was an evenly-fought match. They were going move for move. After a couple of minutes, Jericho took complete control. He hit a couple of different backbreakers. Warrior was able to move on after catching Jericho in a small package.

Match 3. nWo vs. New Age Outlaws
It looks like Mr. Ass dragged Road Dogg into this battle. It's the battle of tag team champions of the wooooorld! Nash was walking down to the ring alone. Maybe Hall got sick of Mr. Ass. Nash was getting dominated by both opponents. Nash was going to hit the Jackknife on Mr. Ass but he reversed it. Road Dogg hit the pump handle slam to win.

After the match, Steiner came out to check on Nash.

Main Event. Booker T vs. Bagwell  Quarterfinal
While watching this match, I still believe WWE messed up the Invasion storyline really bad. Booker hit a harsh combo of an Irish whip into the corner leading to a German Suplex. Booker ended it with the Scissors Kick.

Recap: Lawler gets his ass kicked, yet helps Angle against Henry. Then when the match is over, attacks him in return. This is going to be interesting. And what does Lord Tensai have to do with this? Raw is getting good! Kane is so smart. Why bother facing his brother? He's the WWF Champ, dammit! I get it now. Scott Hall was jealous that Steiner was Nash's partner last week. This will be the split of the nWo. Just watch.

May Week 4, Year 2

We are 4 weeks away from the...King of the Ring! Yes, I am bringing back the 5th major PPV in WWE. Next week, I will begin quarterfinal matches on both Raw and Nitro.

Raw
Match 1. Triple H and X-Pac vs. The Hardys
DX is back in action this week taking on Matt and Jeff. Raw is filled with tag teams; it's hard to get them all on the card each week. The Game started it off, but quickly tag in X-Pac. DX weakened both Hardys with quick tags. After a long beatdown, Matt was finally able to tag in Jeff. This match has been going on for about 15 minutes at this point. It seems like the CAWs don't want to pin their opponents. Triple H finally pinned Matt after a neckbreaker.

Match 2. Edge and Angle vs. Rock and Vince
I'm surprised this storyline is still going on. Angle grabbed a sledgehammer early in the match, but didn't use it. Vince was tagged in but was double teamed by Edge and Angle. Vince was able to gain his composure and take on Edge. After a face buster, Edge pinned Vince.

Match 3. Last Man Standing - Test vs. Goldust
See above statement. Test was showing off his strength early and often. Goldust hit the Final Cut, but Test was only down for a one count. Goldust landed a huge DDT, planting Test on his head which led to the 10 count.

After the match, Goldust put his hand out but Test slapped it away.

Main Event. Kane vs. Austin
A rematch from last night's WWF Title match. To make things interesting on Raw, I interfered with Taker and attacked Kane. Austin wouldn't let me hit Last Ride, but I was able to hit Old School. Austin picked up the victory.

Nitro
Match 1. DDP vs. Luger
Luger has been on a roll in the past couple of weeks. Could he be Flair's next opponent for the WCW Title? DDP is trying to end his streak. DDP hit the Diamond Cutter but Luger kicked out at one. Luger came back and made DDP tap from the Torture Rack.

Match 2. 6-man Battle Royal - Benoit vs. Jericho vs. Saturn vs. Eddie vs. Rey vs. Vader
The winner will face the United States Champion for a future title shot. For some reason, Rey went after Vader. Saturn was the first to go. Jericho dropkicked Benoit out of the ring. Rey eliminated his tag partner. Rey and Vader tossed out Jericho. Rey pushed Vader out to win the match.

Match 3. Hall vs. Billy Gunn w/ Steamboat
I guess the only reason Steamboat is involved is because of his rivalry with Scott Hall. I do like that Gunn and Hall are finally facing off after weeks of attacks. Hall was in control early in the match. Mr. Ass got back on offense from the help of The Dragon. Billy Gunn hit the Fame-Asser to score the pin.

Main Event. Flair and Anderson vs. Nash and Steiner
With Hall defeated and Hogan injured, Big Sexy looked elsewhere for a partner. He landed on Big Poppa Pump. The champ went after his main challenger as soon as the bell rang. Steiner pinned Anderson after a German suplex pin.

After the match, the New Age Outlaws attacked Nash and Steiner with their tag titles.

Recap: With around 28 guys on each roster, it's really tough to get them all on the card each week. By slapping Goldust's hand away, Test is apparently a face. What? A WWE Superstar beat a WCW star on Nitro. What a memorable moment!

JUDGMENT DAY, Year 2

Match 1. Submission - Ricky Steamboat vs. Arn Anderson  United States Championship
This could be a very technical and hard-fought match. It was a back and forth match during the first couple of minutes. Steamboat attempted many submissions, but Double A refused to tap. Arn hit the spinebuster and the the Figure Four but Steamboat broke out of it. Steamboat has hit many diving chops and rear naked chokes, but Arn kept powering out of them. After about 20 minutes, Steamboat retained his title with a rear naked choke.

Match 2. Extreme Rules - Steve Blackman vs. Foley vs. Al Snow vs. Rikishi  Hardcore Championship
Rikishi debuts at Judgment Day! The only thing we need to know is if he is a heel or a face. All four men were taking on each other, making sure no one got the pin. Quickly, a ladder, kendo stick and a beer can found their way into the ring. In his first match, Rikish wins the Hardcore Title after a Rikishi Driver to Al Snow.

Match 3. Test vs. Christian vs. Godfather  Intercontinental Championship
It seems like Test moved on from Goldust, but the competition is only going to get tougher. The Corporation has 2 of the 3 major titles on Raw (IC and European). Will they be able to capture the WWF Title soon? Christian and Godfather were taking turns beating on Test. After many close calls, Test retains the belt by pinning Christian while Godfather was out of the ring.

Match 4. Ultimo vs. Chavo vs. Macho Man vs. DDP
Savage is sporting black and gold tights while Ultimo is wearing his classic red and black mask and tights. The mix of two cruiserweights and two big veterans creates a nice dynamic in the ring. Chavo and Ultimo went at it while Savage and DDP faced each other for most of the match. DDP won by pinning Dragon after a gutwrench powerbomb.

Match 5. Steel Cage - Austin vs. Kane  WWF Championship
Here is the Corporation's chance to have the top 3 titles. Kane should fair well in the cage match. Austin was doing everything he could to keep this match short and painless. Kane made a break for it after a back body drop, but Austin got up. He tried to pull Kane off the cage twice but Kane pushed him back down to the mat. He finished his climb and won the WWF Title.

Main Event. Ladder - Flair vs. Nash  WCW Championship
It's funny how Nash is always in the main event, just like in the real WCW. Could Nash bring the WCW Title to the nWo? Both ladders were quickly brought into the ring. Flair made several early attempts at the belt. Nash hit two back-to-back Jackknife Powerbombs. Despite that, Flair tossed Nash off the ladder and pulled down the belt.

Recap: What I thought was going to be a good match seemed like a match that would never end. Steamboat and Anderson would not tap out. I like that the Corporation now has most of the titles. It solidifies them as a force to be reckon with. I can see Flair retaining the title for a year, just like Daniel Bryan did with the IC Title. Overall, it was a good PPV with some surprises.
