January Week 2, Year 5

Raw has a lot of stuff going on this week.

Raw

Match 1. Alberto Del Rio vs. Darren Young vs. Lesnar vs. Titus O'Neil

Are the Prime Time Players done? Lesnar went right after Young and Del Rio took on O'Neil. Del Rio locked in the cross armbreaker on Lesnar. He broke out and went on a rampage. He connected with an F5 and won.

Match 2. Cesaro and Ziggler w/ Tensai vs. Kofi and ???

Who is Kofi's partner? It's...it's...it's Magnus. Wow, I was really let down there. He and Cesaro started the match. About 30 seconds into the match, Kofi and Ziggler fought outside the ring and the ref ejected them from the match. Cesaro then hit the Neutralizer. Magnus came back with the MDD and after a long distraction from Tensai, he won.

After the match, Magnus celebrated.

Match 3. CM Punk vs. Kane

These two could not build momentum. They reversed each other's moves. Punk landed a swinging neck breaker, but Kane got up and connected with a chokeslam. Punk kicked out of the following pin, but Kane had more in store. He landed a dropkick and a mundhole stomping before getting the 3 count.

Main Event. Wade Barrett vs. John Cena vs. ???

Christian was the third man. This is a good opportunity for him. Christian and Wade landed a double Samoan drop on Cena. Christian hit Cena with a tornado DDT off the second rope. Wade hit Christian over the head with a chair. Christian took out Wade with a spinning elbow. Cena immediately hit Christian with the AA to win.

Smackdown

Match 1. Primo and Epico vs. Kaz and Daniels

This new team of Kaz and Daniels were in control early in the match. Epico landed the Backstabber on Kaz. Kaz got right up and hit him with a German suplex. The Colons hit a few double team moves in Kaz. Daniels and Kaz hit their own tag team move before Kaz got the 3 count.

Match 2. Ryback vs. Swagger

Swagger was walking to the ring when Gabriel appeared out of nowhere and attacked Swagger. They went back and forth until Ryback landed Shell Shocked and won. The match was less than 3 minutes long.

After the match, Gabriel came in and attacked both men.

Match 3. Barrett and Camacho vs. Sandow and ???

What? Why is this match a remarkable match? Barrett hasn't been on Smackdown in months. Well, Sandow's partner is...TRIPLE H! They were arguing on who should start the match. Sandow won. Triple H went for a powerbomb on Camacho, but he reversed it. Triple H landed a Pedigree on Wade and won.

Main Event. Big Show vs. Bully Ray

Show landed a Showstopper, but Ray was able to kick out. Bully Ray brought in a chair to even the odds. He then hit the Bully Bomb. Show hit Ray with a powerbomb and the WMD to win.
