JUDGMENT DAY, Year 3

The card was pretty good. I just have to adjust a couple of the matches. Most of the matches have a stipulation.

Match 1. Iron Man - Chris Benoit vs. Booker T  Intercontinental Championship
I wish one of these two were a face, but I still expect a good match. Benoit had Booker in the Crossface a couple of times. Halfway through the match and there was still no score. With 6:40 left, Benoit caught Booker in a roll up and scored the first point. Booker tied it up with 3:20 left in the match. Benoit took back the lead with 1:46 remaining. Booker landed his spine buster, the Houston Hangover and the scissors kick to tie it up with 46 seconds left. Neither man could score a pinfall, so Benoit retains his title.

Match 2. Kane and RVD vs. Triple H and Flair  World Tag Team Championship
Evolution was in control the whole match. RVD was able to hit Triple H with Rolling Thunder. Triple H fought back and hit a back suplex. RVD and The Game went to the outside where HHH landed his spine buster. He then hit the Pedigree and won.

Match 3. Table - Edge vs. Mr. Kennedy  United States Championship
Edge and Kennedy each brought in their own table. After fighting back and forth, Edge landed the Edge-o-matic. He then went to the corner and hit the spear. Kennedy fought back and landed the rolling senton. Edge hit a back breaker and then speared Kennedy through a table to retain his title.

Match 4. Falls Count Anywhere - John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar
This match is somewhat random, but could lead to something in the future. Brock landed a military press early, but Cena got up and hit a spin-out power bomb. Lesnar fought back and elbowed Cena in the back of the head. He then picked up him for an F5. The match ended up in front of the announcers where Lesnar hit another F5 and won.

Match 5. Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle  WWE Championship
Taker was putting a hurt on Angle in the early going. He hit a leg drop across Angle's throat as he was laying on the apron. He then planted Angle on his head with a DDT. Taker went for the Last Ride but Angle broke out of it. Taker was able to hit Old School. Angle fought back and hit the Angle Slam. Taker kicked out at 2.9 and then made his comeback. He hit the Tombstone and won to retain his title.

Main Event. Last Man Standing - Steiner vs. Goldberg  World Heavyweight Championship
Before the match began, Triple H took a seat with the announcers. Steiner hit Goldberg with a northern lights suplex. He then picked Goldberg up for a military press. After a German suplex, Steiner landed his overhead belly-to-belly. Goldberg hit his swinging neck breaker but it wasn't enough as Steiner hit another suplex and won.

After the match, Big Show joined Steiner in the ring for celebration.

Recap: This was an excellent PPV. I like that both world champs retained their belts. We now have 4 weeks until King of the Ring.
