December Week 4, Year 2

There are 5 weeks until the Royal Rumble. It's going to be a long road to the Rumble. There may be some surprises heading into the PPV.

Raw
Match 1. RVD and Shelton Benjamin vs. JBL and Mark Henry
That's right! The Gold Standard debuts on Raw. This was an awesome match to kick off Raw. Henry hit Shelton with a military press. RVD tagged Shelton in and held Henry down so Shelton could hit coast to coast. JBL hit the Clothesline from Hell on RVD. Henry hit a couple of right hands and busted RVD open. After a couple of minutes more, RVD hit a hurrcanrana pinning combination on Henry and won.

Match 2. X-Pac vs. Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and Bubba Dudley
The destruction of DX continues. Dogg and Gunn double teamed their former partner. Mr. Ass took out the ref accidentally. Gunn hit Pac with a float over DDT. Pac was tossed to the outside and Bubba and Dogg began beating him. Bubba hit the Bubba Cutter and knocked out Pac to win.

Match 3. Kane vs. Rock
One night after a brutal hell in a cell, Kane has to take on The People's Champ. Kane seemed to be still tired from the PPV. Rock hit the spine buster then the Rock Bottom. Rock was going for a suplex, but Kane reversed it into one of his own. Rock got up, hit the Samoan drop and won. Rock pinned the champ.

Main Event. Stone Cold vs. Triple H
Triple H had Austin isolated in the corner. He hit a knee smash in Austin's head. Austin regained control and hit a Stone Cold Stunner. He picked him back up and hit a powerbomb. Triple H low blowed Austin and hit the Pedigree. After a back breaker, Triple H pinned Austin for the win.

After the match, Triple H grabbed a chair and was going to hit Austin but Benoit ran down and took away the chair. The Game left. Benoit turned around and hit Austin over the head.

Nitro
Match 1. Chavo vs. Nash
Somehow, Chavo hit a tilt-a-whirl back breaker on Nash. Big Sexy recovered and hit a running big boot on Chavo in the corner. Goldberg ran down and immediately hit the Jackhammer on Nash. Chavo hit the Three Amigos on Nash. Chavo picked Nash up and hit the Gory Bomb. Nash got up, threw Chavo into the corner again and hit another big boot. He pinned Chavo and won.

Match 2. Sting vs. DDP
DDP hit a snap spine buster and a tilt-a-whirl back breaker on Sting. DDP went for the Diamond Cutter but Sting ducked and hit the Scorpion Death Drop. Steiner ran down to the ring and Sting hit the Death Drop on him. Sting went for a pin and Steiner distracted the ref. The match went to the outside. Sting went for a right hand but DDP caught in him a roll-up and won.

Match 3. Flair vs. Goldberg vs. Hogan
I can't stand triple threat matches. Every time there is a pin, the third superstar would break it up. The superstars don't stay down for long after a finisher. Goldberg hit Flair with the spear on the chair. Hogan busted Flair open after a bulldog. Goldberg hit Flair with his snap neck breaker and knocked him out.

Main Event. Warrior vs. Scott Hall
Hall took down Warrior with a chop block. Warrior clotheslined Hall to the outside. Hall fought back and hit the Outsider's Edge. They came back into the ring and hit a fall away slam. He went for a pin but Warrior kicked out at 2. Hall hit another Outsider's Edge. Warrior drove his knee into Hall's skull in the corner. He pinned him and won.

Recap: Benoit returned and is now a heel. This was the final week of Year 2 in my Universe. Year 3 is going to be intense. New superstars, new rivalries, new champs.
