February Week 1, Year 3

The Royal Rumble was a great success. Slowly, the rosters will be adjusted and some Superstars will be moving around to accommodate for the changes after WrestleMania.

Raw
Match 1. Kane vs. Holly vs. X-Pac vs. Rhino
This was a quick 4-way that got some talent on the card. Rhino got a kick by Pac and turned it into a belly-to-belly. Pac returned the favor and hit a bulldog and a hurricanrana on Rhino. Kane hit Rhino with a Tombstone. A few seconds later, Rhino got up and Gored Kane. At about the 6-minute mark, Pac hit Holly with a back suplex and a cocky one-foot pin and won.

Match 2. Orton vs. Shelton
Orton and Shelton were going back and forth in the corner. Orton then hit a modified back suplex. Shelton fought back with a super kick and a couple of suplexes. Shelton went for Paydirt but Orton blocked hit and hit an RKO. After a couple minutes of slams and whatnot, Orton hit another RKO and got the victory.

Match 3. Dudleys vs. Hardys
This was a pretty long tag match. The Dudleys were in control for most of the match. They kept each other fresh with frequent tags. D-Von hit Jeff with a flipping pump handle slam. He then hit a reverse DDT. D-Von then taunted Jeff and hit his RKO-type finisher. He picked Jeff back up for a military press. Matt was finally tagged in but D-Von went to work on him, too. After a reverse Russian leg sweep, D-Von pinned Matt to win.

Main Event. Batista w/ Flair vs. Shawn Michaels
We saw Flair accompany The Game a couple of weeks ago and they are now a team. Is Batista joining them? Flair distracted HBK, but Michaels punched Flair off the apron. Batista hit Michaels with a vicious spine buster. After a reversed body slam, Batista hit the Batista Bomb. HBK kicked out and hit a Sweet Chin Music. Batista elbowed Michaels in the back of the neck a couple of times and then got the 3 count.

After the match, Flair came in to celebrate, but he clotheslined Batista.

Nitro
Match 1. Steiner vs. Lesnar
This is the biggest battle of strength. Lesnar lifted up Steiner up with ease and hit a running power slam. Steiner went to work on Lesnar with a series of suplexes. Lesnar caught a kick by Steiner and hit the F5. About 30 seconds later, he hit another F5. Steiner was able to recover and hit a belly-to-back and a tiger suplex. Lesnar hit his own belly-to-belly and pinned Steiner to win.

Match 2. Cena vs. A-Train
The Royal Rumble winner is taking on another debuting Superstar to my Universe. Cena hit A-Train with a body slam and a suplex. A few moments later, he hit the AA. After some mounted right hands, Cena got a long 2 count. Cena hit another suplex and got the win.

Match 3. Goldberg and Hogan vs. nWo
Two people were once rivals, Goldberg and Hogan are putting their differences aside for now. Nash and Hall attacked their opponents from behind on the ramp. Hall hit Hogan with a Rock Bottom-type move. A few moves later, Hall hit the fall away slam. Hall and Nash kept Hulk away from his corner. Goldberg finally got in and hit Nash with the Jackhammer. Twenty seconds later, he hit another but Hall was able to break up the pin. The nWo hit a double team move on Goldberg and Nash scored the pin.

After the match, Nash hit Hogan in the back with a chair while Hall hit Goldberg with one of his own.

Main Event. Scotty vs. Kurt Angle
I have no idea why this is the main event. Angle gave Scotty a beating with a German suplex and then a belly-to-back. Scotty retaliated with his own suplex and a hurricanrana. Scotty hit a missile dropkick off the top but Angle came back with another German suplex. Angle then hit the Angle Slam and scored the pinfall.

Recap: I am shocked that Flair turned on Batista.
