December Week 2, Year 5

The semi-finals of the tag tournament tag place tonight. The winning teams will face next week.

Match 1. Jack Swagger vs. Chris Jericho
Jericho landed a springboard moonsault from the second rope and then a back breaker. He climbed the ropes again and connected with a diving elbow. He then landed back-to-back Codebreakers for the win.

After the match, Jericho checked on Swagger, but he was faking it and low blowed Jericho.

Match 2. Semifinals - The Usos vs. Kidd and Gabriel
Kidd landed a swinging neck breaker and went for the pin, but Jimmy kicked out. Kidd and Gabriel landed a snapmare/dropkick combo on Jimmy. The Usos gained the upper hand and landed a back breaker/diving elbow on Gabriel. Jimmy then ran back first into a sitting Gabriel. Justin recovered and landed a spinout powerbomb. Jimmy stomped on the inside of Gabriel's leg and got the win.

Match 3. Semifinals - Big Show and Mark Henry vs. Ziggler and Cesaro
Ziggler caught one of Henry's legs and landed a clothesline. Show and Cesaro were in. Show hit a Showstopper. Cesaro was able to recover as he and Ziggler flipped Show over their heads. Show got up and hit Ziggler with a Final Cut. Show then landed a reverse neck breaker to win.

After the match, Orton entered the ring and celebrated with Show and Henry.

Main Event. The Rock vs. CM Punk vs. Cena
Punk was walking down the ramp when Rocky attacked him from behind. Weapons were quickly introduced. Cena brought in a ladder while Punk brought in a replica title. The Rock landed the Rock Bottom on Punk while Cena was pacing outside the ring and won.

After the match, Paul Heyman rushed down and checked on Punk.

Match 1. James Storm vs. RVD
RVD brought in a chair and then began kicking Storm in his calves. After a rolling heel kick, RVD hit a rolling fireman's carry. He picked Storm up and kicked him in the back of his head. They don't call RVD the man with the educated feet for nothing. He ended with a 5-star Frog Splash to win.

Match 2. Aries and King vs. Cesaro and Ray
I'm hoping this feud ends soon. Kenny King walked down to the ring alone. King and Cesaro battled on the outside. King threw Cesaro into the apron a couple of times. Ray landed a superplex and a side slam on King. He then hit the Bully Bomb and knocked out King.

Match 3. Rob Terry vs. Desmond Wolfe
Terry connected with some right hands and went for a pinfall, but Wolfe kicked out. Wolfe landed a rolling fireman's carry. Terry got up and hit a running powerslam. He then lifted Wolfe up and hit a chokeslam. King ran down and broke up Terry's pin. Terry hit a back breaker and won.

Main Event. Jeff Hardy vs. Bobby Roode
Roode hit a jumping neck breaker from the second rope. He then connected with the Pay Off suplex while Samoa Joe ran to the ring. Jeff and Roode fought on the outside. Jeff brought in a sledgehammer, but Roode took it away. Roode landed a back suplex and an atomic drop to get the 3 count.

After the match, Roode was going to leave the ring, but he turned around and stomped on Jeff some more.

Recap: The Usos will take on Big Show and Mark Henry next week. That seems a little lopsided. I thought Punk was injured; he's not.
