January Week 2, Year 6

In weeks 3 and 4, I will be hosting some Rumble qualifying matches to give fans an idea of who will be in the match.

Raw
Match 1. Triple H vs. Jericho vs. Swagger
Triple H was walking down the ramp when Swagger came out from under the ring and stomped on The Game. During the match, Jericho and Triple H teamed up for a moment and attacked Swagger. The match spilled to the outside. Triple H went for a Pedigree, but Swagger reversed it and hit the gutwrench. They made it back into the ring where Swagger hit Jericho with the Swagger Bomb. Triple H then hit Jericho with a spine buster. Jericho recovered and hit Triple H with a Codebreaker and won.

After the match, Triple H and Jericho shook hands.

Match 2. Miz vs. Christian
Miz landed a shoulder breaker and a swinging neck breaker. A couple of minutes later, Miz connected with a snap DDT and the Skull Crushing Finale to win.

Match 3. Justin Gabriel vs. Dolph Zigger
I'm controlling Dolph in this match. Gabriel climbed the ropes and went for a moonsault, but Ziggler dropkicked him off the corner. Ziggler went to the top, but Gabriel kicked him in the head. After a dropkick to the head, he landed the Name Dropper. It ended with a ZigZag and a Ziggler win.

Main Event. Steel Cage - John Cena vs. Big Show vs. Mark Henry   #1 Contender's Match
I'm controlling John Cena, as much as I hate him, to get to the title match I want. I did not know this was a cage until I started the match. This was an unwinnable situation. After Show slammed Henry, he landed the Final Cut on Cena. Cena tried forcing Show and Henry to tap, but this was an escape-only match. Show landed the spear and the WMD on Henry. Cena then hit the AA on Show. Show pulled Cena from the cage. Show and Henry then began climbing. Cena got up and pulled Show down, but Henry was able to escape.

Impact
Match 1. The Pope vs. Rob Terry
Terry landed a flipping pump handle slam and then a running slam. He went for a chokeslam, but Pope reversed it and hit a backstabber. Terry flipped Pope to the outside. Terry left the ring, but Pope hit a huge uppercut. He then hit a Codebreaker. They made it back into the ring and Pope forced Terry to tap from a rear naked choke.

Match 2. Gauntlet - Abyss vs. Shelley, Sabin and Eric Young
I'm controlling Abyss. Abyss has gone threw pretty much everyone in one-on-one matches. It's time to take it up a notch. Eric Young put up the biggest fight. Abyss landed a fall away slam and then a front slam. Abyss hit a chokeslam and the Black Hole Slam to knock out Young. Shelley was next. He received a chokeslam and Shock Treatment. Sabin left the ring and brought in a sledgehammer and a chair. Abyss hit Sabin with the chair. Abyss won after another Black Hole Slam.

Match 3. Storm vs. Angle
This is a rematch from last week after Styles interfered. Angle was walking to the ring when Styles attacked him from behind. Nice. Storm landed a Death Valley Driver and a Codebreaker. He then connected with Last Call. Angle came back with a powerbomb and a belly-to-belly. After an atomic drop, Storm got the win.

After the match, Angle threw a fit at ringside, ending with Angle punching Michael Cole.

Main Event. Steel Cage - Bully Ray vs. Wolfe vs. Aries   #1 Contender's Match
The winner will face Roode at Royal Rumble. I will control Aries. This should be a little more fair than the WWE version. Aries hit Ray with a huge spine buster in less than 3 minutes. Wolfe landed a double underhook powerbomb on Ray. Aries landed a snap suplex and spine buster on Wolfe. Aries climbed the ropes and hit both men with a cross body and was able to escape.

Recap: Triple H turned face. Good to see Universe doing what I want it to.
