July Week 4, Year 3

We saw a couple of titles change hands at the PPV. There are 3 weeks until SummerSlam.

Raw
Match 1. Michaels and Austin vs. Batista and Orton
HBK and Austin were working well as a team. They were using quick tags to keep each other fresh. At 5:50 Orton landed the RKO on Austin. A few moments later, HBK put Batista in the Sharpshooter and then connected with Sweet Chin Music. The match ended when Orton planted Austin's face into the mat with a DDT and pinned him.

Match 2. Booker T vs. Steiner
The former champ is trying to get back on track. Steiner was walking down the ramp when Matt Hardy appeared in the crowd and punched Steiner. The match got under way and Steiner was able to recover. He landed a belly-to-belly and a back suplex on Booker. He then went for his finisher, but Booker blocked it and hit the Bookend to win.

After the match, Matt came into the ring and attacked both Booker and Steiner.

Match 3. Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy
Since Matt is doing his own thing, why not let Jeff go out on his own? Triple H busted Jeff open with some strong right hands. He then hit the Pedigree but Jeff got right back up and hit Whisper in the Wind. He then landed the Twist of Fate. Triple H made his comeback and landed a spine buster and another Pedigree to win.

Main Event. Last Man Standing - Goldberg vs. ??? Shelton Benjamin
Could someone be returning tonight? The Gold Standard is back, but he's going up against Goldberg. Shelton was able to hit a t-bone suplex, but that was about it. Goldberg lifted him up for a military press. He then hit a swinging neck breaker and the spear. Shelton was out for the 10 count.

Smackdown
Match 1. John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar
Lesnar was dominating Cena. Kennedy interfered and hit the Mic Check on Cena. Cena fought back and busted Lesnar open with a flipping face buster. A minute later, Cena landed the AA and won.

After the match, Lesnar was taken to the back on a stretcher.

Match 2. Hogan vs. Mr. Kennedy
Both men went back and forth with their attacks. Kennedy landed his rolling senton at 3:31. A few minutes later, Hogan "hulked up" and landed multiple right hands. After a piledriver, Hogan went for a pin but only got a 2. After a few more right hands, Kennedy began bleeding. Hogan pinned him and won.

After the match, Kennedy was taken away on a stretcher.

Match 3. Kurt Angle vs. A-Train w/ Scotty 2 Hotty
Before the match began, Angle hit A-Train with brass knuckles. A-Train recovered and hit Angle with the Train Wreck. However, Angle was able to get up and hit three German suplexes on A-Train. A-Train landed another Train Wreck. Angle hit another German suplex and scored the pinfall.

After the match, Scotty checked on A-Train as he laid face down in the middle of the ring.

Main Event. Undertaker vs. Bubba Ray
JBL walked down the ramp and took a seat at ringside. Taker landed a Tombstone on Bubba at 5:37. He went for a chokeslam, but Bubba countered it. Bubba's offense didn't last long as he fell victim to a Last Ride and another Tombstone.

Recap: It seems as if the Hardys are slowly drifting apart. This Universe has too many injuries in the short time its been around. Lesnar and Kennedy are added to the injury list.
